The Prana Blades are an advanced model specifically designed for freedivers and spearfishers who demand uncompromising equipment in terms of quality and materials.

Materials and Construction

The blades are made of 75% carbon and 25% S-Glass, a high-strength fiberglass derived from the aerospace industry. Manufacturing involves an exclusive high-pressure, high-temperature vacuum process, with hot-melt impregnation using tetra-functional resin. This method ensures a defect-free component with a consistent fiber/resin ratio along the entire blade, providing strength and lightness.

Engineered Design for Efficient Kicking

The calibrated distribution of stiffness and mass along the blade promotes resonance within a range of natural frequencies that match the typical kicking frequency. This configuration optimizes thrust transmission, reducing fatigue and increasing the fluidity of movement underwater.

Water rails: constant-profile structure with a height of 10 mm, designed for optimal stability and trim control.

Blade dimensions: 667 x 185 mm, balanced to ensure efficient propulsion.
