AICEL "SONOSICURO" CERTIFICATE

DEEP BLUE is SONOSICURO certified by AICEL (Italian E-Commerce Association). The SonoSicuro certificate identifies merchants that follow good e-commerce practices.

SonoSicuro is a certification that allows merchants to be recognized at a glance by their customers as reliable and secure stores.
The store checked and certified by AICEL displays the SonoSicuro mark, which contains a unique identifying number.

SonoSicuro is an unprecedented initiative in Italy. It is the first service certification for e-commerce. The model applied is the established and recognized model of traditional process certifications, such as ISO certifications.

The certification body is AICEL – the Italian E-Commerce Association – which, thanks to its impartial position, can constantly monitor the behavior of certified stores.

WHY CERTIFY A STORE?

Certification helps visitors immediately understand that the store they are browsing is secure and genuinely committed to meeting their needs and respecting their consumer rights. SonoSicuro increases trustability, meaning the confidence of customers who buy from e-commerce websites.



SonoSicuro Certified stores are easy to recognize thanks to the display of the SonoSicuro Certificate on their pages.

The Certificate uniquely identifies the store through the numerical code shown. At any time, users can verify the store’s status by clicking the SONOSICURO logo.

PROCEDURES AND CHECKS @SONOSICURO

The SonoSicuro certified store has accepted the AICEL code of ethics and completed a detailed questionnaire that allows the association to assess its awareness in taking on this significant responsibility and, where appropriate, to start the verification process.

Once the procedure has started, AICEL does not simply verify what the merchant declares, but makes sure that the applicant store is truly compliant.
Our experts (lawyers and accountants) examine the store, check that it has actually provided the minimum information required by the consumer code, that suitable information is in place to protect consumer privacy, and more. At their discretion, our certifiers may decide to start Mystery Shopping and verify order processing times, withdrawal procedures, and refunds—up to 180 different checks may be required!

SONOSICURO is a certification that is earned, not bought.
In fact, to date, fewer than 40% of the stores that have applied for certification have actually managed to meet all the required criteria.
