Piercing Wishbone for Spearfishing

The Piercing wishbone is an essential and robust component, the result of advanced design specifically developed for spearfishing. The bridge is made from cold-drawn AISI316 stainless steel, ensuring excellent mechanical strength and long-lasting durability. The spheres are welded to the bridge using the TIG technique, ensuring a stable and precise joint.

• Very short and rigid design that keeps the bands spaced apart, improving the line of sight and making aiming references easier compared to softer dyneema wishbones.
• Compatible with shafts fitted with notches or pins, with no risk of premature wear.
• Reduced-diameter spheres at 5 mm, smaller than traditional 8 mm or larger versions, limiting band swelling near the tying point.
• Lower friction during the shot, with a direct impact on ballistic performance and release smoothness.
• Low weight comparable to dyneema wishbones, without altering the balance of the speargun.
• High shot quietness, thanks to the option of leaving only a small portion of raw cord protruding into the band cones during tying.

Available Versions

The Piercing wishbone is available in three versions (L1, L2, L3) to provide the same ease of installation on bands of different diameters:

• Piercing L1: width 30 mm, length 17 mm, recommended for 14 mm bands.

The L1 version, although very short, has been tested on large-diameter bands with a tensile load of up to 90 kg, showing minimal deformation and ensuring reliability even on thick bands.
