H. Dessault Vertical Reel for Spearguns
The H. Dessault Vertical reel is a vertical reel specifically designed for spearguns used in spearfishing. Built with a strong, lightweight thermoplastic frame, it integrates stainless steel inserts to ensure strength and durability in the marine environment.
Materials and Construction
- POM spool and drag and rewind knobs, a floating thermoplastic material known for its light weight and high mechanical strength.
- Connecting tie rods, knob arm, and anti-birdnesting pins made from stainless steel for high corrosion resistance.
- Support with reinforcing ribs, designed for stable mounting on the handle of spearguns in the Fenix line.
Drag Mechanism
The drag is equipped with a self-locking mechanism that prevents the spool from locking completely, improving safety during spearfishing. Once tightened, the drag reopens automatically, allowing smooth line management under tension.
Compatibility and Installation
- Natively compatible with spearguns in the Fenix and Eagle lines.
- Adaptable with plastic rails (supplied separately) for mounting on the reel mount of other models.
- Can also be mounted on C4 Mister Carbon and Gladius spearguns by screwing directly onto the barrel.
