The Uragano 115 is the flagship full carbon speargun by CETMA COMPOSITES: a spearfishing gun with a clean, elegant shape, fully profiled with a cuttlefish-bone geometry, engineered to deliver maximum performance on every dive. Supplied ready to fish, with all standard accessories already installed, it is the choice of the most demanding spearfishermen.

Design and Geometry

The barrel profile follows the distinctive cuttlefish-bone shape, extremely slim and tapered toward the muzzle, for optimal lateral tracking and smooth underwater maneuverability. The study of its geometries and volumes is not purely aesthetic: every detail is calculated for load balancing, maximized flexural stiffness, and reduced recoil. Along the entire lower section, the power unit — made up of the bands — is properly spaced from the barrel to eliminate any friction or vibration during the shot and make loading easier.

Construction: High-Modulus Carbon Monocoque

The barrel is a closed-structure high-modulus carbon monocoque, manufactured using CETMA COMPOSITES’ proprietary Zero-Defects Technology process. This completely innovative process makes it possible to produce a fully monolithic carbon fiber component with zero voids, maximizing structural performance and giving it the highest possible rigidity, unalterable over time.

The internal structure is made from a very low-density multifunctional polymer material with Aerospace-derived structural properties: a closed-cell polymer core with excellent vibration damping capability.

Finish

Anti-reflective matte, unpainted finish. CETMA COMPOSITES products are not painted: this is a sign of absolute quality, since low-quality carbon products often use paint to hide production defects.

VELA System: Performance Beyond All Expectations

The Uragano 115 is equipped with the proven VELA System, developed exclusively by CETMA COMPOSITES. Thanks to an innovative stopper positioned after the pulleys, the system provides a completely clear line of fire, allowing centimeter-accurate shots well beyond 7 meters with zero recoil. The pulleys are made of high-strength Derlin.

• Tahitian Shaft 8.0 mm or 8.5 mm single-flopper CETMA COMPOSITES in ground PH steel, heat-treated to 49 HRC
• Double Roll trigger mechanism manufactured by high-performance ERMES solid-block EDM machining
• Reel mount and carbon reel: Real V50 with 50 m of Dyneema or Real V90 with 100 m of Dyneema
• Magnum Plus Band kit pre-installed with the VELA system, with stretch factors selectable by the customer according to hunting requirements
• Derlin pulleys
• All accessories in 316L stainless steel

Power and Penetration

The shaft’s penetration capacity can be adjusted according to the shaft type and selected band diameter. The recommended stretch factor for the bands is a maximum of 310%–315%, adjustable according to specific hunting requirements.
