Mares Strike Polygon: Speargun for Spearfishing and Freediving
Strike Polygon is a band speargun designed for spearfishing and freediving, equipped with a simplified sight line that enables more instinctive and accurate shooting.
Technical Barrel Features
The Barrel has a circular cross-section with a 28 mm diameter and is made from corrosion-resistant extruded aluminum with a Polygon camouflage finish. The design incorporates a low-friction shaft guide that improves smooth shaft engagement.
Muzzle and Bands System
- Open Muzzle compatible with single or double circular Bands.
- Line guide Floppers for optimal line management.
- Designed to minimize friction between the Barrel and Bands, increasing shot efficiency.
- Prepared for replacement with a Roller Speargun Muzzle for advanced customization.
Handle and Ergonomics
The Handle is simple, ergonomic, and made with non-slip material. Its angle in relation to the Barrel is designed to align with the arm and reduce post-shot recoil, improving comfort and control during dynamic shooting.
Release System and Trigger
- Rear stainless steel Release, resistant to the load of large-diameter Bands.
- Trigger with optimized geometry to increase sensitivity and accuracy, essential for dynamic shooting.
Equipment and Materials
- Single progressive latex Band with 17 mm diameter.
- Dyneema Wishbones for high strength and minimal absorption.
- 7.0 mm 17-4 PH hardened stainless steel Tahitian Shaft, synonymous with durability and rigidity.
- 80 mm horizontal Reel with 50 meters of 1.7 mm line included.
