Sirius Hunter by Mares is a computer developed specifically for freediving and spearfishing, suitable for both pool use and open-water dives. Designed with a reinforced case made from high-strength materials, it ensures strength and durability in underwater environments.

Display and Interface

The device features a large 1.3" (33 mm) display with mineral glass and chip-on-glass technology, ensuring excellent readability underwater even in low-light conditions and making data easy to read during the dive.

Freediving-Specific Functions

• Stopwatch and countdown timer for precise management of dive time and breath-hold time.
• Lap counter to track repetitions during pool training.
• Silent mode to reduce audible notifications during the dive.
• Customizable sequential depth alarms for safety and control during descent and ascent phases.

Logbook and Data Recording

Sirius Hunter integrates a logbook with recording capacity for up to 10 hours of dives, with data sampling every half second (0.5 s). The log allows detailed analysis of freediving sessions through the dedicated Mares/SSI app, available for smartphones, enabling precise monitoring of parameters and trends.

Battery and Connectivity

• Replaceable CR2450 battery with 200 to 300 hours of runtime.
• Bluetooth connectivity for firmware updates, data transfer, and analysis via compatible apps, ensuring information is always up to date and easy to manage.
