The SigalSub XL Wishbone with bushings is an articulated wishbone for spearguns, made entirely from AISI 316 stainless steel using 4 mm rod stock. Strong, precise, and designed to deliver maximum ballistic performance, it is the ideal choice for anyone using double- or triple-band spearguns.

Construction and Materials

Each wishbone is made from 4 mm AISI 316 Stainless Steel rod stock, hand-bent and shaped to form the engagement hook. A second bend on the arms brings the bands perfectly back in line after engagement on notches or pins. The terminal surfaces remain rounded, significantly reducing the risk of abrasion in the event of accidental release. The version with bushings includes dedicated threaded Derlin bushings (16 pitch), allowing direct use with bands with bushings.

Ballistic Performance

Thanks to its XL dimensions — 65 mm length, 51.3 mm width, and hole center distance of approximately 47 mm — this wishbone keeps the bands perfectly spaced and parallel during loading. This prevents the rubber bands from overlapping, eliminating unnecessary friction and energy loss during the shot, for a consistently clean and precise sight line.

Recommended Use

• Ideal on double- or triple-band spearguns, paired with a narrower wishbone (wire or classic style)
• Also compatible with single-band spearguns, making it easier to engage and slide the hands out
• Pairing with wishbones of different widths to keep the bands perfectly spaced and parallel
