Evolution Shaft with Sigal Sub Notches in Heat-Treated Sandvik Steel

The Evolution shaft with notches is manufactured by Sigal Sub using premium-quality Sandvik steel, subjected to a specific heat treatment to improve its mechanical properties. This process gives the shaft the strength and stiffness needed to ensure high accuracy, ideal for use with open- and closed-muzzle band spearguns.

Technical Features and Materials

• The two loading notches use an innovative technique that creates a rounded-profile seat with no sharp edges or cutting corners, improving durability and safety when used with Dyneema wishbones and preventing premature breakage.
• The tail end is hand-finished to eliminate sharp points and edges, ensuring safety and comfort when handling.
• The recessed floppers are made from raw AISI 316L stainless steel, ensuring high mechanical strength. The single flopper, manually modified to prevent it from closing after passing through the fish, is positioned on the top as standard but can also be requested in a bottom configuration.
