Tomahawk Roller Speargun Salvimar
The Tomahawk by Salvimar is a Roller Speargun with an advanced structure and high power, ideal for spearfishing and freediving.
Structure and materials
The barrel has an asymmetrical elliptical shape and is made from aircraft-grade aluminum with internal reinforcements, ensuring lightness and strength. The open shaft guide in Teflon minimizes friction and noise, maintaining smooth tracking.
Watertight sealing is ensured by double elliptical O-rings positioned between the handle and barrel and between the barrel and muzzle, also providing optimal buoyancy for the speargun.
Handle and mechanics
The handle is equipped with a highly anatomical grip for optimal comfort during use. An adjustment screw allows the trigger sensitivity to be tuned according to the freediver’s preferences.
The Heavy Metal 350 release mechanism, made with MIM (Metal Injection Molding) technology, allows loading up to 350 kg without deformation, ensuring precision and reliability when releasing the shaft.
Muzzle and shaft guide
The roller muzzle features oversized dimensions and a V-shaped profile at the tip, designed to make it easier to insert the shaft with shark fins along the guide, without needing to lift the dyneema wishbone, making reloading in the water easier.
Tomahawk propulsion system
- Innovative system with four additional auxiliary bands
- The combined stretch of the bands increases shot power by 35% compared to traditional roller systems
- The two main bands are connected to the wishbone and to the four secondary bands, which activate only when maximum traction is reached
- This configuration provides a more powerful, accurate shot with reduced vibration
Band setup and accessories
- Double circular S400 16 mm band with 100% Climax 1.4 mm wishbone lines
- Four auxiliary S400R 15 mm bands
- Ready for mounting Salvimar reels for efficient line management
