The Salvimar Speeder Fins are made from variable-thickness polypropylene, with 3.5 mm near the foot and 1.8 mm at the blade tip. This construction provides an optimal balance between stiffness and flexibility, ensuring efficient thrust transmission with minimal effort during freediving finning and spearfishing.
Ergonomics and Comfort
The foot pocket is shaped from ergonomic rubber with variable thicknesses and integrates a molded rigid insole that improves power transmission and foot support. This configuration increases comfort, allowing for a snug fit and a high level of blade control.
Mechanical Strength and Hydrodynamics
The side rails are positioned under the sole of the foot and incorporate fused polypropylene side clips, ensuring excellent energy transfer from the foot pocket to the blade with no discontinuity points. This reduces hydrodynamic turbulence and prevents annoying interference while swimming.
