Salvimar Hero Open Muzzle Speargun

The Salvimar Hero is an open-muzzle speargun for spearfishing, featuring an extruded aluminum barrel that is fully sealed and balanced to ensure optimal trim in the water. The aluminum construction provides mechanical strength and lightness, essential for smooth handling during spearfishing.

Handle and control

The Salvimar Hero handle features exclusive characteristics that improve grip and full control of the speargun. This configuration promotes optimal recoil absorption, resulting in greater shot accuracy and increased power during the catch.

Versatility and intended use

Available in eight different lengths (65, 75, 85, 95, 105, 115, 125 and 135 cm), the Salvimar Hero adapts to a wide range of spearfishing scenarios:

• Shorter versions suitable for coastal hunting, targeting species such as white fish, seabass, and gilthead seabream.
• Mid-size models ideal for greater depths when targeting groupers, amberjack, and dentex.
• Longer lengths (125 and 135 cm) designed for bluewater hunting, with the capability to take on large pelagic species such as wahoo and tuna.

Technical configuration and materials

The speargun comes standard with double or triple 14 or 16 mm circular bands, selected according to model length, ensuring an optimal balance between band power and loading comfort.

• The wishbones are made from Dyneema and hand-tied to ensure durability and reliability.
• It is equipped with a Mini 50 or Maxi reel, selected according to speargun size, for efficient line management.
• The steel shaft is offered in 7.0 or 8.0 mm diameters depending on length, ensuring rigidity and precision when swinging and tracking the gun.
• The standard bands are intentionally soft to make the speargun easier to use, while the gun’s structure supports the installation of stronger and more powerful band setups.
