Rob Allen Vecta Belt Reel

The Rob Allen Vecta Belt Reel is designed specifically for belt use, without the improper adaptations typical of other models. This reel stands out for its ability to be positioned quickly anywhere on the belt, without having to remove weights or other components, thanks to a purpose-molded frame and an elastic cord that allows fast, secure attachment and release.

This feature is essential while freediving, as the quick release helps prevent risks in demanding spearfishing situations: if a large fish pulls the reel underwater or the spool jams, there is no need to remove the entire belt, helping prevent the loss of both the fish and the equipment. Simply pull the elastic to release the reel and then easily attach it to a float for added safety and practicality.

Materials and construction

Made from 30% glass-filled nylon and AISI 316 stainless steel, the reel ensures high mechanical strength and durability in saltwater underwater environments. The line guide slot features a stainless steel rim, minimizing wear and preserving the cord’s integrity during use.

Mounting and versatility

Installation is extremely quick and intuitive: simply position the reel at the desired point on the belt and secure the retaining elastic. The design allows mounting on either the right or left side by changing the position of the elastic cord on the frame, ensuring a perfect fit for the preferences of the freediver or spearo.
