The BlueWater Floatline Bungee by Rob Allen is a floating line made from plastic material, designed specifically for bluewater spearfishing and hunting large pelagic fish. Available in 15, 20, 25, and 30 meter lengths, this floatline offers an optimal balance between controlled stretch and mechanical strength.
Technical Features
- Material: Rob Allen certified plastic blend, with high resistance to UV rays and saltwater environments
- Limited stretch: maximum 1.5 times its resting length, thanks to an internal Dyneema safety line with a 270 kg breaking load
- Extension force: 31 kg required to extend the line to 1.5 times its resting length
- Terminations: equipped with two loops for easy, secure attachment
- Made in South Africa: guaranteed South African production
Use and Versatility
The BlueWater Floatline is suitable for use along drop-offs and in coral environments, especially when you want to prevent the fish from coming into contact with the bottom. It is versatile and can be used on its own for more precise tension control, or paired with a Bungee to increase the overall stretch of the line.
