The Fins Pro Ultimate Pathos are blades made of pure 285-T4 4×4 and 285-T2 2×2 carbon fiber, thermally processed at 8 tons of pressure for 36 hours, with a glossy surface for reduced friction and uniform double S-curve flex along the entire blade.

Designed for medium-deep dives from -15 to -30 meters and beyond and for long surface transfers, they combine a 28° angle, flap edge, and 16 mm water rail for maximum propulsion, energy saving, and zero muscle fatigue even after hours of use.

  • Pure carbon 285-T4 4×4 and 285-T2 2×2: double weave for structural surface strength and instant responsiveness inside
  • 8-ton thermal process for 36 hours: glossy surface that reduces friction and ensures consistent performance over time
  • S-Curve Technology: double S-curve under pressure for uniform flexion already in front of the foot pocket, maximum efficiency and immediate return
  • Flap-shaped edge: reduces energy consumption and adds extra thrust in the final phase of the kick compared to concave models
  • 28° angle and 16 mm water rail: ideal combination for medium-deep dives and experienced divers who train regularly
  • Propulsion tested up to 52–54 m/min during ascent: zero leg fatigue even after 5–6 hours of continuous session

Carbon Pro Ultimate Fins - Pathos

The Carbon Pro Ultimate Fins by Pathos are high-performance complete fins for freediving and spearfishing, made with pure carbon fiber blades paired with the renowned Fireblade Foot Pockets. Designed for experienced and consistently trained divers, they offer an exceptional blend of lightness, responsiveness, and thrust power, making them ideal for medium-depth to deep dives and long surface swims.

100% Carbon Fiber Blades: High-Performance Double Weave

The blades of the Carbon Pro Ultimate are made from pure carbon fiber with a double fabric weave, a technical choice that is the performance core of this fin:

  • Outer layer in 285-T4 4×4 twill carbon: eliminates roughness, cracks, and blade distortion, ensuring complete absorption of the epoxy resin and a structure with high breakage resistance.
  • Inner layer in 285-T2 2×2 twill carbon: gives the blade immediate responsiveness and instant return with every kick.
  • The selected carbon fibers, combined with the best epoxy resin, ensure stiffness, reliability, and long-lasting durability.

Double S-Curve Flex: The Most Efficient Geometry

The positioning of the internal carbon fiber layers is designed to generate, under pressure, a double S-shaped curve that develops evenly along the entire length of the blade, starting right from the connection with the foot pocket. This geometry is now considered the highest-performing solution for freediving blades because:

  • It optimally distributes the power generated by the kick across the entire surface of the blade.
  • It delivers a fast, powerful push off the bottom during deep dives.
  • It significantly improves performance during surface swims, reducing muscular effort compared with previous models.

28° Angle: Maximum Performance for Trained Divers

The 28° angle is designed for experienced divers who maintain good physical condition and train consistently. This angle allows you to:

  • Push off the bottom with power and no dead spots.
  • Maintain a comfortable and efficient kick in all conditions.
  • Achieve the best dynamic results in combination with the Fireblade Foot Pockets.

Convex Flap and Water Rails: Technical Details That Make the Difference

  • Convex Flap blade tip: adds extra thrust in the final phase of the kick, reducing the workload on the legs and allowing you to use less power compared with previous models with a concave tip.
  • Low, consistent water rails: work like side spoilers, creating a water channel that prevents the blade from slipping sideways and preserves valuable thrust energy with every kick.
  • Smooth, friction-free glossy surface: reduces water resistance and optimizes the overall hydrodynamics of the fin.

Fireblade Foot Pockets: Record Lightness and Exceptional Comfort

The Carbon Pro Ultimate come complete with Pathos Fireblade Foot Pockets, made from vulcanized rubber with three different compounds:

  • Soft on the toes and heel: maximum comfort throughout the dive.
  • Medium on the side rails: allows the blade to move freely without restriction.
  • Stiff on the metatarsal area and sole: stability and efficient thrust transmission with every kick.

The Fireblade weigh only 370 grams, and their extremely thin side rails allow the blade to work perfectly without tiring the leg. The fins are shipped pre-assembled and glued between blade and foot pocket, ready to use.

Stiffness Selection Guide

  • Soft: recommended up to 65–70 kg body weight.
  • Medium: recommended between 75 and 100 kg.
  • Hard: recommended over 100 kg.

Fit Selection Guide

Anyone who wears size 41/42 shoes with a 3.0 mm sock should purchase the 42/44 fit.
