Vertical 70 is a vertical reel made of glass-filled nylon with a reinforced central steel core, designed to provide mechanical strength and light weight during spearfishing.
Structure and Functionality
The reel has no traditional line-retention cage and uses a cover with elastic spring that keeps the line in position during payout and retrieval, ensuring optimal line management underwater.
Easy Release Safety System
Equipped with the Easy Release safety system, it features an adjustable drag with a steel spring that allows the line to pay out automatically under tension. This feature is essential when hunting larger fish at depth, allowing the spearo to ascend without being hindered by the reel.
Control and Compatibility
- The side drag-control knob is extendable and features wings for improved grip and tension control while retrieving the line.
- Compatible with all Pathos spearguns, the reel mounts easily by sliding onto the rail after screwing the mounting base to the speargun barrel.
