Ultra Wetsuit - Pathos

The Pathos Ultra Wetsuit is a two-piece spearfishing wetsuit made from Jako — a high-performance neoprene that is also ideal for deep dives, thanks to minimal buoyancy variation as pressure changes. The wetsuit is bonded using eco-friendly techniques, reflecting Pathos’s commitment to sustainability without compromising build quality.

Materials and construction

The material combination is designed to maximize comfort, warmth, and glide in the water:

• Smooth Skin exterior: reduces hydrodynamic drag and improves freedom of movement in the water
• Open Cell interior: adheres directly to the skin, providing excellent thermal insulation
• Jako: high-stretch neoprene, ideal for deep freediving with minimal buoyancy variation
• SUPRATEX on elbows and knees: technical material that offers high resistance to cuts and abrasion in the most stressed areas
• Chest reinforcement in 7 mm Jako combined with rubber: reinforced area for loading the speargun without wearing out the neoprene
• Lycra on the front chest and lower/rear part of the jacket: combined with Smooth Skin for optimal flexibility and fit
• Rubber strips on the lower/rear part: provide grip on the weight belt, allowing you to sit in the boat without slipping

Ergonomic design and fit

The Ultra Wetsuit is pre-shaped with an ergonomic design, making it very similar to a custom wetsuit. The construction is designed to adapt to the silhouette of the diver’s body, reducing physical effort during extended dives and improving freedom of movement.

• Clip closure for easy donning and doffing, even without assistance
• Lycra inner ear area: anti-compression system to protect the ear area during descents
• Thinner face seal and arm and leg cuffs: reduced material in peripheral areas to improve comfort and limit pressure on the wrists and ankles
• High-quality finishing throughout the wetsuit

Safety in the water

The Ultra Wetsuit integrates active visibility elements designed to increase diver safety on the surface and underwater:

• New graphic on the back makes the diver visible during the dive
• Red parts visible from the surface: a key passive safety feature for being spotted by boats
• Red graphics on the arms: visible out of the water for quick identification in open water

• Jacket: available in 5 mm, 7 mm and 8,50 mm
• Pants: available in 5 mm and 7 mm
