Horizontal Evo - Pathos Horizontal Reels for Spearfishing

Horizontal Evo is the line of horizontal Pathos reels designed with a compact, rugged construction, specifically developed for spearfishing. The main reel body is made from glass-filled nylon, ensuring mechanical strength and low weight, while the central axle is reinforced with a stainless steel core to provide durability and solidity during underwater use.

The main body integrates a line-retention cage, with a nylon roller that keeps the line stable during payout and retrieval, improving smoothness and ease of use while freediving.

Easy Release Safety System

The reels are equipped with the Easy Release system, based on an adjustable drag with a steel spring, essential for targeting large fish in deep water. This mechanism allows the line to pay out automatically without resistance, making the diver’s ascent easier without accidents or unwanted braking.

Technical Features of Horizontal Evo 40 and 50

• Horizontal 40: capacity of 50 meters of 1.5 mm diameter Dyneema line.
• Horizontal 50: capacity of 60 meters of 1.5 mm diameter Dyneema line.
• Ergonomic knob positioned on the underside for easy drag engagement and disengagement.
• Full compatibility with all Pathos spearguns thanks to the screw-on mounting system and slide-in rail installation.
• Available in three colors: Black, Grey and Brown.

Mounting and Use

The reel mounting base is screwed directly to the speargun barrel, while the reel slides into place on the rail, ensuring quick installation and stability during spearfishing use.
