The Pro Maximum Blades by Pathos are made with pure 285-T4 and 285-T2 carbon fiber, subjected to a 36-hour heat-treatment process and polymerized under 8 tons of pressure for 24 hours. This method ensures a completely smooth, drag-free surface, making the blades durable and delivering optimal reactive response.
Structure and Materials
- The outer weave is made of 285-T4 4X4 carbon, which eliminates wrinkles, cracks, and distortion while promoting complete resin absorption.
- The inner weave uses 285-T2 2X2 carbon, with a weave pattern designed to optimize power transfer and elastic rebound along the entire blade.
Design and Functionality
The blades feature a C-Curve profile achieved through the design of the internal fibers, providing maximum flexibility and instant blade return. They are equipped with consistent water rails to guide water displacement, while the flap-shaped edge increases power in the final phase of the fin stroke, improving efficiency and reducing the freediver’s effort.
