Sigalsub Nemesis HT Carbon

The Sigalsub Nemesis HT is an inverter speargun designed for spearfishing, featuring a high-power, long-range pulley reduction system, a compact structure, and precise load management thanks to components developed specifically by Sigalsub.

Inverter propulsion system

The propulsion system uses three pairs of 16 mm Sigalsub Extreme bands. Two pairs of straight bands are connected to the lower part of the handle, designed by Sigalsub from the outset with future evolution toward Roller Speargun and Inverter configurations in mind.

A third pair of bands is fixed laterally to the Barrel via two small supports perfectly integrated into the Nemesis profile. The three pairs of bands are connected to:

• two side pulleys
• two lines running toward the rollers in the Muzzle
• final fork closure

This configuration provides effective thrust management and greater range compared to traditional systems.

Compact Sigalsub Muzzle

The new compact Sigalsub Muzzle is made from glass-filled Nylon and is designed to keep weight low and dimensions extremely compact.

The structure features reinforced areas in the upper section and at the line passage points, increasing mechanical strength. The 8 mm steel central axle provides high transverse rigidity, while the thinner sections of the Muzzle reduce weight while maintaining good structural elasticity.

Self-lubricating POM rollers

The rollers are made from polyoxymethylene (POM), an engineering material used for precision components thanks to:

• high rigidity
• low friction
• excellent dimensional stability

The central spacer between axle and roller is also made from POM and is designed with increased clearance to keep the roller always free to rotate without friction against the side walls of the Muzzle.

Made in Italy pulleys

The Sigalsub pulleys are made in Italy and developed specifically for the Nemesis HT. They consist of:

• two steel plates
• steel axles removable via Allen screw
• POM roller for line running

Correct pulley positioning keeps alignment parallel to the Barrel, preventing rubbing and protecting the carbon from wear and scratches.

Carbon Barrel with integrated shaft track

The high-strength carbon Barrel integrates the shaft track to improve stability and accuracy during the shot. The structure is designed to manage the high stresses generated by the inverter system while maintaining good overall balance.

Loading procedure

Loading the Nemesis HT follows a specific procedure typical of inverter systems.

1. The two pairs of lower bands are initially unhooked from the handle.
2. The loop connected to the wishbone is pulled along the shaft until it hooks onto the desired shark fin tab.
3. Next, the pairs of bands are progressively hooked under the handle.
4. In the final configuration, the last pair uses the white line positioned above the reel.

The system is designed to simplify loading compared to traditional inverter configurations.
