Nemesis HT Roller-Inverter Speargun Sigalsub
The Nemesis HT is a Roller-Inverter speargun made by Sigalsub, a technical evolution of the Nemesis model. The barrel is made from Anticorodal aluminum alloy with a variable diameter from 28 to 26 mm, featuring an integrated shaft guide to ensure smooth travel and shooting accuracy.
Construction and materials
The muzzle is made from glass-filled nylon, a choice that combines lightness with mechanical strength. The compact design improves the overall balance of the speargun. To optimize line routing and smooth power transmission, the muzzle is equipped with two self-lubricating POM rollers rotating on stainless steel axles.
The release mechanism components and line release are made from stainless steel to ensure durability and reliability in the underwater environment.
Roller-Inverter propulsion system
The speargun uses a propulsion system with two or three pairs of Inverter bands, depending on barrel length:
- 76 cm and 82 cm spearguns use two pairs of bands.
- The 92 cm, 104 cm, and 116 cm sizes use three pairs of bands.
One pair of bands pre-tensions the line, ensuring reduced effort during loading. The bands are attached to two specially designed blocks made by SigalSub, consisting of metal plates, steel axles, and pulleys, which help distribute power evenly and contribute to reduced recoil.
Handle and components
The handle, derived from the Nemesis model, features an ergonomic structure with a non-slip thermorubber butt pad, ensuring comfort and control even with wet hands during spearfishing. The speargun is sold complete with SigalSub’s best components, including a 6.5 mm diameter HRC shaft and 16 mm Extreme bands, hand-tied for maximum reliability.
