How to Use
The lanyard is worn according to the type of dive and the freediver’s setup:
- Constant weight Freediving: it is preferably worn on the wrist. If no weight belt is used, it can also be worn on the belt.
- Free immersion Freediving: it is worn on the ankle to ensure freedom of movement and safety during the descent.
Applications
The lanyard is mandatory in constant weight freediving competitions, where it ensures proper control of the descent and ascent along the guide line. It is also strongly recommended during training courses and practice sessions, representing a key element for freediver safety.
