100% Pre-Preg Carbon Blade

The Lotus Carbon Blade is made from 100% Pre-Preg carbon fiber, produced with hot-melt impregnation systems and micro-toughened tetra-functional resin. The proprietary 3D-Tech production process takes place under high pressure, high temperature, and vacuum, ensuring a component with 0% voids, free from defects and with a consistent fiber/resin ratio across the entire blade. The result is an extremely high-quality structure, with maximum specific stiffness and long-lasting durability.

FEM Design and Hydrodynamic Optimization

The Lotus Carbon blade design is optimized through finite element method (FEM) engineering, an advanced engineering technology that allows stiffness and mass to be distributed in order to “tune” the blade to natural frequencies close to those of the finning stroke, triggering the phenomenon of resonance. The result is very low muscular effort combined with superior propulsion and acceleration. The blade features a 30° angle, ideal for delivering maximum thrust in both indoor (pool) and outdoor (open water) settings, with intermediate stiffness suitable for any finning style and any diver weight.

Lotus Foot Pocket in Natural Rubber

The Lotus Carbon Fins are paired with the Lotus Foot Pocket, developed with exceptional commitment in terms of design and technology. Made from high-quality natural rubber, it features low weight and extraordinary softness, ensuring incredible comfort without compromising performance. The Lotus Foot Pocket fits all Sizes perfectly, including smaller sizes starting from 35-36, ideal for women or anyone with smaller feet. Pairing with neoprene socks is recommended.
