The MATC trident tip prong tip is designed specifically for freedive spearfishing for sea bass (European seabass) and is suited to the techniques used in France, Spain, Portugal, and Italy. This tool is ideal for taking sea bass both in open-water hunting and hole hunting, where large specimens are often encountered.
Technical Features
- The three tips, 6.0 mm in diameter, are short to help the floppers open during shots into holes.
- The center tip, threaded and interchangeable (M7 thread), is oriented at 90° relative to the side tips to ensure greater holding power and secure fish retention in every direction.
- The floppers are made from stainless steel wire, with movable barbs also in stainless steel, ensuring a firm hold on the prey.
- The patented system allows the barbs to be flipped back, making it easier to remove the fish from the prong tip.
- Total prong tip length: 18 cm.
- Weight: 120 grams, providing a good balance between strength and easy handling in the water.
