Hunt Target Trigger Mechanism in AISI 316 for Spearfishing Spearguns

The Hunt Target trigger mechanism is made from AISI 316 stainless steel and designed for spearfishing and freediving spearguns. It features an integrated line-retention system (line release) with a semi-curved Trigger design, inspired by the most advanced semi-automatic hunting firearms, for an ergonomic grip and precise response.

This mechanism acts on the side of the release sear, keeping the trigger pull weight consistent even under heavy line tension, ensuring high sensitivity without sudden increases in load.

Main Technical Features

• Side line release positioned on the right, measuring 22 mm in length and 2.5 mm in thickness, optimized for proper line retention.
• Mechanical pull safety test: 500 kg.
• Trigger pull set at 1.5 kg, stable up to 180 kg of shaft pull, equivalent to 5–6 bands with a 16 mm diameter at 320% elongation.
• Compact, rear-set mechanism, allowing 4–5 cm more band stretch compared to traditional mechanisms, resulting in greater propulsion power.
• Dimensions of the section housed in the stock: 47 mm length, 16 mm thickness, 18 mm height.
• Long levers for maximum sensitivity and reduced trigger force, ensuring smooth, intuitive operation even under high-load conditions.

• Mechanism silencing via anti-noise rubber to eliminate the firing click, avoiding alerting fish during spearfishing.
• Automatic line release: the shaft positions smoothly and optimally to retain the line efficiently.
• Reversible line release, configurable for the right or left side simply by unscrewing the turned bushing that forms the rotation axis.
• Reinforced line release (2.5 mm thick), polished and angled to ensure smooth operation and protect nylon monofilament.
• Dual spring on both the Trigger and the shaft-retaining sear to ensure consistently secure and stable engagement.
• Blackened screws and countersunk seats for a cleaner sight line and a refined, functional aesthetic.
• Blackened AISI 316 mechanism housing, 2 mm thick, with an anti-reflective effect essential for not disturbing fish during Freediving.
• Polished stainless steel Trigger and retaining sear, providing chromatic contrast and improved wear resistance in marine environments.
• Hardened and polished AISI 316 pins at 48HRC for high mechanical strength and smooth mechanism operation.
