HUNT Tang for Aria Pneumatic Shafts

The HUNT tang is designed for air-powered pneumatic spearguns, with conventional or vacuum muzzle, ensuring a precise and reliable connection with oleopneumatic shafts.

Technical Features

• Compatibility: available for 7.0 mm and 7.5 mm shafts, with the 7.0 mm version also suitable for 6.5 and 6.75 mm shafts.
• Thread: classic M6 type, compatible with all pneumatic shafts on the market.
• Dimensions: maximum outside diameter of 8.0 mm and length of 34.0 mm.
• Material: made from 17.4PH steel, CNC-machined and then heat-treated to increase mechanical strength and durability.

Finishes and Machining

The tang is machined with maximum precision using CNC machines, then heat-treated to improve its mechanical properties. After these steps, the parts are degassed and polished by vibratory finishing with micro-abrasives for 24 hours, ensuring smooth, flawless surfaces optimized to preserve the integrity of vacuum muzzle seals.

Design and Functionality

The hex machining allows ideal tightening using a special 6.5 mm T-handle wrench (sold separately), ensuring uniform and stable tightening force without deformation.

The structure is designed to be streamlined and free of protrusions, reducing wear on vacuum muzzle seals and maintaining perfect alignment and shaft travel inside the pneumatic speargun.
