The Garmin GT20-TM is an 8-pin multifunction transducer designed to deliver high-definition images of everything below the surface, ideal for freediving and spearfishing activities.
Technical Features and Functions
- Supports traditional dual-frequency 77/200 kHz sonar with a maximum range of up to 250 meters.
- Incorporates CHIRP ClearVü technology at 455 kHz for side scanning with crisp images down to 70 meters.
- Alternative operating frequencies: CHIRP ClearVü 455 kHz (435-475 kHz) and ClearVü 800 kHz (800-840 kHz) for higher resolution in narrower bands.
- Transmit power of 500 W for traditional sonar and ClearVü, ensuring efficient signal transmission even in saltwater.
- Sonar beamwidth: traditional with 45°/15° angles; ClearVü with a 2.5° x 53° beam at 455 kHz and 1.6° x 29° at 800 kHz, for optimal coverage and detail.
- Maximum operating depth: up to 580 meters (1900 ft) in traditional mode, 230 meters (750 ft) with ClearVü.
- Integrated fast-response temperature sensor for precise monitoring of underwater environmental conditions.
- Cable length: 6 meters (20 ft), sufficient for mounting on different types of boats.
- Supports tilt angles from 0° to 70° for transom or trolling motor installation, offering flexibility and easy mounting.
