Custom Band Preparation consists of the professional calculation, cutting, setup, and assembly of bulk bands, available in our catalog specifically for spearfishing.

The service is available for both circular and in-line bands, with assembly on metal or textile dyneema (or spectra) wishbones. You will receive the band ready to use on your speargun or roller.

The rubber needed for the preparation must be purchased separately in the dedicated bands section.

Information Required for Preparation

1. Brand, model, and length of the speargun
2. Brand, model, diameter, and length of the shaft
3. Distance of the shark fins (or notches) from the speargun muzzle (hole or rubber anchoring point)
4. Preferences for shot and loading: progressive/soft, medium, or reactive

Technical Preparation Process

The preparation includes the precise calculation of the band’s cut length based on:

• Speargun dimensions and overall mass
• Type and specifications of the shaft
• Diameter and type of rubber selected
• Ideal stretch factor to ensure the right shot

After calculation, the technical preparation is carried out:

• Grinding of the ends or preparation of the cones
• Tying the bands onto metal or textile wishbones
• For textile wishbones, additional processing aimed at reducing bulk with the speargun loaded, improving hydrodynamics and handling in the water

All operations are carried out by specialized technicians to ensure precision and reliability with no intervention required by the user.
