C4 Vertical Up Two-Piece Wetsuit for Freediving and Spearfishing
Vertical Up is a technical two-piece wetsuit specifically designed for freediving and spearfishing, made by C4 with high-quality materials and careful attention to construction details.
Materials and Construction
The wetsuit uses open-cell macrocellular neoprene on the inside and features a stretchy outer lining in Milk Silk, characterized by two-way stretch and excellent abrasion resistance. The neoprene, made from 100% limestone (CR rubber), is TÜV certified for the absence of harmful substances such as phthalates and latex, ensuring safety for both the user and the environment.
The material stands out for its high compression resistance and remarkable elastic recovery, with a Type C hardness range between 0-2 and 600% elongation at break, ensuring excellent mechanical durability and comfort during dives.
Design and Fit
The wetsuit features an anatomical preformed cut and a reduced number of panels, limiting seams to increase stretch and comfort. In particular, the shoulder, knee, and elbow areas are seam-free to minimize friction and drag during underwater movement, supporting smooth finning and freedom of movement.
The panels are hand-glued and stitched with a blind stitch seam. The jacket is finished with Lycra inserts to protect the neoprene from potential damage during donning and doffing.
Technical Features
- Available in two thicknesses: 3.0 mm and 5.0 mm, to suit different thermal insulation needs in the water.
- Available in five numbered sizes from 1 to 5 for a precise fit.
- Differentiated jacket closure: plastic beavertail toggles on the men’s model and Velcro on the women’s model, to make donning and adjustment easier.
- Available for purchase as separate pieces, jacket or pants, or as a complete suit.
