Vertical 35 C4 Reel for AISI 316L Stainless Steel Spearguns
The Vertical 35 reel by C4 is a vertical reel designed specifically for spearguns, ideal for freediving spearfishing and spearfishing. Manufactured and assembled entirely by hand in Italy, it ensures reliability and strength.
Materials and Construction
The load-bearing structure, including the mounting bracket, winding lever, screws, and anti-tangle pins, is made from AISI 316L stainless steel, treated to ensure high resistance to marine corrosion and mechanical strength. The pins are positioned close to the spool to ensure smooth, friction-free line payout and retrieval.
The spool, together with the Drag and winding knobs, is machined from solid bar stock in a lightweight yet extremely durable floating plastic material, helping maintain balanced trim in the water.
Drag Mechanism and Safety
The drag system is designed never to fully lock the spool, preventing excessive tension on the line. This feature makes the reel safe and suitable for all spearfishing conditions, preventing accidental breakage and making retrieval easier even in dynamic situations.
Capacity and Mounting
- Line capacity: 35 meters of 1.5 mm diameter line
- Mounting: equipped with a bracket for standard mounting, also compatible with direct attachment to the trigger guard of spearguns
