The UP C4 fins are designed specifically for freediving and spearfishing, combining strength and ergonomic comfort with high-quality Italian design. Made with selected materials, these fins feature high-visibility luminescent colors in the water, essential for recognition during dives.
Technical features and materials
The blades are made of plastic with finishes that recall carbon fiber weaves, delivering a technical and functional aesthetic. The blade surface is divided into a smooth, glossy central section and two side sections with a carbon fiber pattern, while the rear features contrasting finishes to optimize thrust transmission.
The blade’s variable geometry is designed to:
- protect the area near the foot
- prevent load loss along the entire length
The water rails in thermorubber are overmolded at high pressure and temperature, improving water channeling and grip during the fin stroke.
Foot pocket ergonomics and efficiency
The fins are fitted with the 250 foot pocket, pre-shaped with a 3° angle and made from a soft, adaptable plastic material to ensure comfort and a perfect fit. The rigid insole effectively transfers energy from the foot to the blade, increasing thrust efficiency during the dive.
The overall fin-foot pocket angle is 32°, optimal for a fluid and responsive fin stroke in freediving and spearfishing.
