C4 S-990 Camu 100% Carbon Freediving Fins
The S-990 Camu are fins specifically designed for freediving and spearfishing, made entirely from 100% carbon and part of the new C4 200 line. The blade, measuring 770 x 192 mm, is built with a progressive lamination of four different types of Japanese carbon, combined across seven unidirectional layers. This configuration significantly improves the reactivity and mechanical strength of the blade, ensuring efficient thrust transmission during finning in the water.
Technical blade features
- Dovetail Rig for improved flow and optimized hydrodynamics.
- Visible carbon finish enhanced with a white decoration for a technical and functional design.
- Water rails glued and overmolded at high pressure and temperature, allowing the polymer to fuse with the blade composite and eliminating the risk of detachment during dives.
- Variable water rail geometry designed to protect the blade in the area near the foot and minimize load losses along the entire length of the blade.
Foot Pocket
The fins are fitted with the 200 foot pockets, featuring:
- Black thermoplastic elastomer upper to provide elasticity and comfort in the fit.
- Military green polypropylene sole, durable and lightweight to optimize fit without compromising agility and control.
Available variants
- Blade stiffness: 25 soft, 30 medium, and 40 hard, to suit different thrust and sensitivity requirements during freediving.
- Available Sizes: 36/37, 38/39, 40/41, 41/42, 42/43, 43/44, and 44/45, for a perfect fit and in-water comfort.
