L-1090 Freediving Fins 100% Carbon - 200 Line C4
The L-1090 Freediving fins are made entirely from carbon and are part of C4’s brand-new 200 line, designed specifically for freediving and spearfishing.
Materials and Construction
The blade is made with a progressive lamination of four different types of Japanese carbon arranged across seven unidirectional layers. This layup optimizes the balance between reactivity and mechanical strength, ensuring high efficiency in power transmission.
The finish features exposed carbon with a white decoration, giving it a technical and functional look.
Blade Features
- Asymmetric water rails bonded and overmolded using high pressure and temperature, allowing the polymer to fuse perfectly with the blade composite. This technology prevents delamination and ensures long-lasting protection in the area near the foot.
- The variable geometry of the water rails is designed to minimize pressure losses along the entire length of the blade and improve fluidity in the water.
- Hydrodynamic anti-turbulence flap, designed to optimize stability and reduce vibration during finning.
- Blade dimensions: 940 x 192 mm, ideal for an optimal balance between thrust and maneuverability.
Foot Pocket
The fins are fitted with the 200 foot pocket, featuring:
- Black thermoplastic elastomer upper for superior elasticity and comfort.
- White polypropylene sole, durable and lightweight, promoting foot stability.
Available Stiffnesses and Sizes
- Blade stiffnesses: 20 super soft, 25 soft, 30 medium, to suit different finning styles and diving conditions.
- Available in 7 sizes: 36/37, 38/39, 40/41, 41/42, 42/43, 43/44, 44/45.
