The Atollo Freediving Bag by Apneautic is a purpose-built device for training and safety during freediving and spearfishing sessions. Designed to provide high visibility and practical use, it is appreciated by both professionals and freediving enthusiasts.

Materials and construction

The atoll is made from PVC-coated polyester fabric, ensuring waterproofing and mechanical resistance. The structure provides high buoyancy, suitable for supporting ballast weights of varying loads without compromising stability in the water.

Technical features

• Central load compartment, designed to hold 10 and 12 mm diameter lines, with a capacity of up to 100 meters in length depending on rope thickness.
• The compartment cover uses a combination of two YKK plastic zippers and a Velcro system to ensure easy access and long-term durability.
• Two circular holes in the lower part of the atoll allow water to drain out and maintain a stable trim during the dive.
• Lower strap and side handles in polyester (PES) for a secure and comfortable grip before the dive.
• Side telescopic housing for inserting the flag, useful for marking the dive point.
• Rope attachment via a sturdy stainless steel D-ring positioned on the underside to ensure stability and safety during underwater operations.

• This version is not supplied with an inner tube.
• Available in size Large.
• Large dimensions: 700 mm diameter and 230 mm height.
• Internal storage volume: 16 liters for the Large version (10 liters for the Standard version).

Functionality and use

The atoll bag is suitable for freediving and spearfishing, particularly during line training, thanks to its ability to increase visibility and provide practical ballast management. The differently sized straps allow both snorkel attachment and a handhold for the freediver before descent.

Installing the side flag improves marking of the dive point, an essential safety feature for spearfishing.
