Apneautic Freediving Atoll for Training and Dive Safety
The Freediving atolls by Apneautic are specifically designed for line training and in-water safety during spearfishing and freediving, appreciated by both experienced freedivers and those new to the discipline.
Materials and Construction
Made from PVC-coated polyester fabric, the atolls provide waterproof performance and high mechanical resistance. The structure ensures high buoyancy, essential for supporting variable-weight ballast without compromising stability in the water.
Technical Features
- Central storage compartment with a lid featuring a double closure: two plastic YKK zippers and Velcro, for practical, long-lasting access.
- Designed to hold 10 or 12 mm diameter ropes, up to 100 meters in length depending on diameter.
- Double circular opening on the underside, which ensures stable trim and helps drain internal water.
- Lower strap and side handles made of polyester (PES) for a secure, comfortable grip before the dive.
- Robust stainless steel D-ring for securing the rope, positioned on the underside of the atoll.
- Telescopic side sleeve for mounting the flag, essential for clearly marking the dive point.
- Version complete with integrated inner tube for improved buoyancy adjustment.

- Standard: diameter 600 mm, height 200 mm, internal volume 10 liters.
- Large: diameter 700 mm, height 230 mm, internal volume 16 liters.
- Overall volume ranges from 45 to 70 liters depending on size, ensuring adequate lift and stability in the water.
Freediving-Specific Functionality
The strap configurations are designed for freediver comfort: the small straps around the buoy allow the snorkel to be attached, while the side handles make it easier to grip before the dive. These details improve practicality and safety during ascent and descent phases.
