The MB001, MB002 and Sportech models feature carbon blades available in multiple stiffness ratings identified by numerical codes, selectable according to body weight and muscle strength.
Cetma is represented by four complete carbon models: the Mantra and Prana, both with carbon blades paired with S-Wing foot pockets without side rails, and the Taras, competition fins with carbon blade and narrow-fit rubber foot pocket, developed for dynamic and deep freediving. Cetma blades use an engineered stiffness distribution along the blade axis, with differentiated flex zones that provide progressive, controlled behavior during the kick cycle.
H Dessault offers four complete carbon models with the 350 HD foot pocket included: Fast HD, Pershing HD, Tank HD and Minimal HD. Each model differs in blade geometry and intended use, with multiple stiffness options available for each model.
Sigal Sub is present with the carbon Tsunami, offering a competitive quality/price ratio in the technical carbon segment.
Complete fiberglass fins
C4 offers two complete fiberglass models: FBG Umberto Pelizzari and FBG Sportech . The blades are made from 100% Prepreg Epoxy fiberglass, laminated with the same construction layout as the carbon blades in the C4 line. The water rails have a rounded profile and extend along the full length of the blade. The FBG Umberto Pelizzari models are fitted with 250 foot pockets pre-shaped at 3°. The FBG Sportech instead feature a dedicated open-heel foot pocket. Fiberglass provides a more progressive flex than carbon, with greater tolerance for technical errors, making it suitable for divers developing their kicking technique. Available in multiple stiffness levels.
Complete plastic and technopolymer fins
C4 covers this segment with seven complete models. The Umberto Pelizzari line includes various colors and stiffness levels, all with variable-geometry technopolymer blades, thermorubber water rails overmolded at high pressure and temperature, and 250 foot pockets pre-shaped at 3°. The Predator are plastic fins with a soft, responsive blade, water rails at the tip section, and 250 foot pockets. The Storm are about 10 cm shorter than standard length, with terminal water rails and 250 foot pockets; recommended for shallow water (0-18 m). The Wolverine fins are made entirely of silicone, perfect for improving kicking technique.
Cetma offers the Lotus Plastica, the technical polymer version of the Lotus line with foot pocket included, suitable for learning and pool training.
Cressi is represented by the Gara Modular Impulse in two colors. A modular system with an interchangeable technopolymer blade, suitable for intermediate use and for those looking for an affordable replaceable-blade solution.
Mares offers the X-Wing Pro, modular technopolymer fins with an ultra-lightweight dual-material X-Wing foot pocket with short side rails. The foot pocket limits interference with blade flex in the attachment area.
How to choose
The choice of material should be matched to technical level: plastic and technopolymer blades are suitable for learning and training, with a flexible behavior that tolerates imperfections in kicking technique. Fiberglass blades offer intermediate progressive flex, suitable for those refining coordination before moving on to carbon. Carbon blades require an already solid technique to be used effectively: their high elastic return coefficient amplifies both efficient and incorrect kicking. Stiffness should be selected according to body weight and muscle strength; most brands in this category provide weight/stiffness correlation charts for each model.
