The position is easily marked, just go up vertically to the surface, wait the 4 seconds needed to be located by the satellites and click on "Save Position". Thanks to the Multi-GNSS system, which uses signals from multiple satellites, all dive and exit points are easily tracked.

Descent MK2i has a ferrule made of DLC Titanium charcoal gray, and a large 1.4 inch anti-glare color display, 280×280 pixels for easy and immediate reading, protected by a sapphire crystal lens. 

You can plan and choose the dive mode you prefer such as single and multiple gas (including nitrox and trimix), freediving, rebreather or basic.

The internal memory, increased to 32GBIt lets you save and analyze data from 200 dives and share it online via Garmin Connect™ and the Garmin Dive mobile app.

Descent MK2i is one smartwatch full-featured, combines Elevate™2 wrist-mounted cardio tracking with multisport profiles, Smart Notification3 and automatic uploads via the Garmin Connect™ Mobile app to the online dive community.

The battery has a up to 80 hours duration in immersion mode and 20 hours in GPS4 mode, 16 days in Smartwatch mode and 50 days in watch mode.
