I water rails have been glued and overmolded at high pressure and temperature, this allowed the polymer they are made of to fuse with the composite of the blade, so as to avoid unwanted detachments during freediving. Their variable geometry has been thoroughly studied to guarantee the protection of the blade in the area near the foot and to avoid load losses along the whole length.
